Integrating HR Avatar into Teamtailor

Why Integrate?
Once you have activated HR Avatar's integration with Teamtailor you will be able to send out assessments to job applicants and review assessment results from within Teamtailor. This can save lots of time and allows you to have all of your applicant information in the same place.
How it Works
You can attach a "trigger" to any Job within Teamtailor for any stage of the application process. When you create the trigger, you will select the specific assessment package you want to administer for applicants that are placed into the associated stage for the Job you are editing. Once the trigger is in place, whenever you move a candidate into the associated stage for that Job, an assessment will automatically be initiated for that candidate. The candidate will receive an email from HR Avatar inviting to complete the assessment and the assessment will be marked as "Pending" within Teamtailor. Once the assessment is complete, the results are posted to Teamtailor and will be available in the candidate record.
Getting Started
First things first, to enable this integration you must have an agreement with HR Avatar so start by reaching out to your contact person or contact us at support@hravatar.com or https://www.hravatar.com/contact. We will make sure you have an account and that we have determined the assessments you would like to access through Teamtailor.
Once an agreement is in place and your HR Avatar account is ready, we will give you an HR Avatar API Key which you will enter into the appropriate screen within your Teamtailor account.
To enter your API Key, sign in to Teamtailor. Then go to the Marketplace link under your account name in the upper right corner of your . Select Assessment on the left and then find HR Avatar in the screen. You should see a button to Activate the integration. When you click that button you will be asked to enter the HR Avatar API Key. Enter the key provided by HR Avatar and click the Update button.
Once completed you are ready to go!
Adding a Test to a Job on Teamtailor
Once the integration is activated, you can start testing right away. To add an assessment to a Job follow these steps:
- Sign In to your Teamtailor account
- Go to Jobs in the upper menu
- Select the Job you would like to add an assessment to.
- Select Applications if it doesn't automatically appear.
- For the stage at which you want to test, select the magic want icon on the right.
- Click "Add Trigger"
- Click "Initiate Assessment HR Avatar Assessments"
- Select the Test or Battery you would like to administer. Then click "Add Trigger"
Once a trigger is established, whenever you place a candidate in the associated stage (on Teamtailor), HR Avatar will initiate an assessment and email an invitation to the candidate. The candidate record will show that an assessment is "Sending" and will be updated to "Pending" once HR Avatar has sent the email message.
When the candidate completes the test, HR Avatar will perform scoring and will post the results information to Teamtailor. The candidate record will show the overall score and have a link to "See results." This link will show all detail results for that record.
Viewing Test Results on Teamtailor
Results are automatically posted into the candidate record when they are ready. To view results, follow these steps:
- Sign In to your Teamtailor account
- Go to Jobs in the upper menu
- Select the Candidate you are interested in.
- The assessment result should be visible.
