Our Commitment to Web Accessibility
We want everyone who interacts with our system to have a positive and productive experience. This includes individuals interacting with our websites as a visitor, an employer, a candidate, an employee, or a rater. Therefore, we have adopted the following statements and commitments website accessibility and compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.
As a company that specializes in candidate evaluation, we feel a strong obligation to ensure that every applicant, candidate, or employee is given the opportunity to present their unique talents, characteristics, skills, and other traits in the best possible light. Website accessibility is critical to fulfilling this obligation.
What are we doing?
Our websites include test.hravatar.com and www.hravatar.com. The WCAG 2.1 guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for both websites.
How are we doing?
We've worked hard on the test.hravatar.com website. As of 14 December 2023 we've achieved Level AA accessibility (with a few minor exceptions). For additional detail, please review our Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) for test.hravatar.com by clicking here.
We monitor this website regularly to maintain our compliance, but if you do find any problems, please contact us and let us know as much detail as possible so we can address the issue.
We've also worked hard on the www.hravatar.com website. As of 14 December 2023 we've achieved Level AA accessibility one important exception, which is to make the pages 'flow' in smaller screen web browsers (ie responsive web design). We are currently working on redesigning the www.hravatar.com website to make it responsive and bring it to the Level AA standard. We will update this statement and our VPAT as soon as the change is completed (expected in 2024). For additional detail, please review our Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) for www.hravatar.com by clicking here.
The VPAT review process has also exposed some opportunities to enhance accessibility for candidates and employees. A good example is the handling of requests for accommodation, such as a request for an increase in a test time limit. We are investigating ways of enabling these requests and automating handling so that test takers needing accommodation can receive it without tiresome delays.
Let us know what you think
