Aldie, VA (May 20, 2020) - HR Avatar Pre-Employment Tests, a leading provider of online, simulation-based employment tests, has introduced several new premium remote test proctoring options.
As more and more testing is administered remotely, test security has become more important. At the same time, various Internet technologies such as video streaming, have continued to mature. These technologies have enabled assessment companies to increase the degree of test security available to companies performing remote Internet testing.
Two years after introducing its industry-changing image-capture-based remote proctoring for all of its assessments, HR Avatar has introduced several new premium-level remote proctoring options. Made possible by newly implemented suspicious activity detection and video streaming technologies, these options allow for ever-higher levels of test security when administering assessments remotely.
The new options are:
Full Video Capture and Recording - The candidate is recorded on audio and video during the entire assessment. Recordings can be viewed in REAL TIME by test administrators logged into their HR Avatar account. Administrators can remain anonymous or can communicate with candidates via audio and text-based chat. The video is also processed through facial recognition software for cheating detection. Recorded video is available for post-test review alongside test results.
Suspicious Activity Detection - All suspicious actions by the candidate, such as changing browser tabs or pressing a suspicious key are recorded and reported both during and after the test. Further, the system can be configured to automatically stop the test when a threshold is reached.
Live (Video-based) Assessment Monitoring - Using our ability for real time video monitoring, HR Avatar will provide live proctors to observe the candidate for the entire test, just like a proctor in a physical testing room.
These options can be combined or activated separately. Suspicious activity detection can also be implemented alongside the image-capture remote proctoring, which collects images at random intervals during the test and processes for face changes or additions that indicate potential cheating.
