Oakton, VA – The Telly Awards has named SRA International and HR Avatar, Inc. a Bronze winner in the 35th Annual Telly Awards.
With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this is truly an honor.
HR Avatar had multiple winning entries in the Awards program, including in use of animation, training, motivational, and music selection. The projects involved animated media, live-action video, and interactive branching to create engaging and informative online training environments for learners.
2014 Bronze Award: 33424OV - Emergency Prep - Internet/Online Programs, Segments, or Promotional Pieces - Use of Animation
HR Avatar used animated simulations to help employees prepare for Emergency situations, such as natural disasters, agitated employees and customers, and workplace hazards. An animated host presents information to make the training more engaging and accessible. Animated simulations help learners visualize emergencies and apply the information learned in the training.
2014 Bronze Award: 33423OV - Emergency Prep - Internet/Online Programs, Segments, or Promotional Pieces - How-To/Instructional
HR Avatar worked with SRA's, Serco's and Camber's instructional designers to create training modules that use audio, visual and animated components. The innovative modules leverage an animated host to present guidelines, rules and animated simulations to help users practice the best next steps in case of an emergency. Emergency situations are sensitive events, and the training modules allow users to experience emergencies in a safe environment and apply the information learned in the training.
2014 Bronze Award: 33393OV - Medical Advisory Opinion - Internet/Online Programs, Segments, or Promotional Pieces - Training
HR Avatar worked with SRA and Serco's instructional designers to create a training module for doctors to understand how to prepare documentation for legal procedures. The training leveraged ClicFlic's interactive platform to present an animated host, instructions, and examples of good and poor documentation. Learners highlighted poor work to demonstrate understanding of the concepts presented in the training.
2014 Bronze Award: 33351V - NCA Honoring our Veterans - Non-Broadcast Productions - Motivational
The Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) National Cemetery Administration maintains 131 national cemeteries in 40 states (and Puerto Rico) as well as 33 soldier's lots and monument sites. Every day, thousands of employees help families of Veterans mourn their loved ones with respect and compassion. The touching video highlighted the hard work necessary to maintain the high standard of excellence the NCA follows to honor the nation's Veterans.
